We partner with profitable growth companies that are likely to benefit from strong tailwinds in relatively large addressable markets.

Our companies build defensible moats around themselves by way of intellectual property, organizational causal ambiguity or customer stickiness. We focus on translating profits into strong cash flows. 

We seek founders and companies in healthcare, pharma, consumer, food and other consumption-related sectors. We leverage our organizational expertise in these sectors to build strong founder relationship, conduct incisive diligence and drive accelerated profitable growth after investment.

We leverage our deep expertise and cultural familiarity of India to invest exclusively in companies that have a significant Indian angle.

We invest between USD 10mn to USD 50mn in a given company. While we are flexible about the percent stake in a company, we expect that we will predominantly take 30-70% stakes in companies.

We target to stay invested in our companies for 5 years on an average.

Guide our companies on accelerating profitable growth through strategic clarity, prioritization, capital allocation and capability building.

We work closely with our companies to identify any low hanging opportunities for improving efficiencies, increasing productivity and driving superior cash flows.

Besides leveraging expertise and networks of our operating partners, we help our investee companies build capabilities of existing talent and attract the best talent, when necessary.

If needed, we use our proprietary framework for creating a culture of ownership, accountability and transparency in our investee companies. 

We leverage our experience to guide companies on the right cadence for improvements in systems, processes and governance as they rapidly scale up.
